Elijah is my best friend and also my workmate.He is so prim and proper at work, a very GO-Getter you would say. Last week the Boss asked him to wine and dine very important clients. Elijah didn't find a VIP hotel because all of them were already booked, so he chose one which was at bit rough and ready. After dinner, the clients complained about that poor standard quality of the hotel. Our boss who is hot-tempered was so frustrated , of course he apologized to the clients but that situation bugged him for days and he obviously nursed a grudge.

Elijah, too, felt blue, by the way he decided to face his fears and broke the ice by explaining to the Boss how that unfortunate situation happened. The boss had a bone to pick with Elijah and he ended up firing him.

Now my friend Elijah has found a new job and he is busy preparing his wedding which will take place next month. Whenever he thinks about bringing home the bacon everyday, he is filled with anxieties.

He suggested Linda his fiancée to postpone the wedding date which she quickly brushed aside. so by hook or by crook Elijah will get married next month.

I advised him to work overtime and burn the midnight oil, even if he will be burned out, I hope his current boss will notice his courage and give him a pay raise.

Nowadays Elijah has little time to see Linda, and doesn't take her out on a date like before, because he has no money to burn. Then Linda is mixed up, and she thinks that Elijah is cheating on her. I took time to discuss with Linda, and reassure her that Elijah is nothing but faithful and he will never scheme to cheat on her. I just told her to bear with him and that all things are gonna be okay .i am confindent very soon their home will become a haven of peace instead of a battlefield of squabbles.
